Eric had a magical star added to his face to complete the galaxy look.
Liams favorite candy of the night was a sucker. Aaaarrrr Matey!
Getting ready to go. Anna ran around for a little bit while Liam finished getting ready. She was so excited to go trick or treating.
Anna was amazed by all the costumes that were running by her. She never got scared surprisingly. She usually scares easily. She climbed up all the steps and would take one candy out of everyones bowls. She knew just what to do. She also spent alot of time showing everyone her loot.
This is Liam Trick or Treating at his good friend Mackayla's house.
This ones a little dark, but they sure were cute. We have one of those neighborhoods that you see in Halloween movies. All the neighbors out chatting, houses decked out with orange lights and cobwebs, kids running around making the night feel alive. It was so much fun.
After walking the entire 2 hours of trick or treating Anna works very hard to find just the right spot to settle in and eat her beloved sucker.
The Annual Chili cook off and harvest Party at Grandpartents' Eltons house was a fabulous time. The kids loved the hayrides but not so much the Chili. Eric designed an all white Chili. All white beans, white corn, mushrooms and a light tandori base. It was pretty tasty. He won most original.
Gramma Chelle, as she is called by Liam, has a little bench in her back yard that Anna loves to sit on. She sits contentedly and swings her little legs.
we had our first fall adventure! It was a fabulous day for it and Liam and Anna couldn't have been cuter the whole day. Liam is starting realize that Anna could possibly be a playmate and it has opened a whole new world of friendship between them. Anyway, did I mention how much I love fall?
fun was had by all on the train ride. It was super comfortable for Eric. He could probably ride in it all day long.
Hammering nails and smashing corn kernals was a popular attraction. something about smashing things into oblivion makes children smile.
Liam was super excited for the barrel roll. I thought he would run and go crazy with it but instead he walked very methodically and thoughtfully. He always studies how things work.
The big hit was a sand box filled with corn. The kids spent most of their time there. Anna's little shoes poking out of their corn reminded m of The wizard of Oz. Ding dong the wicked witch is dead.
The boys went fishing while the girls chased bubbles. Liam got 4 bites but would yank the rod up in excitement and lose the fish. He was so frusterated.
Anna really wanted her face painted. She loves kitties and she held very still while recieving her feline face.
we finished off the day at the pumpkin patch. Liam chose our the squash wich would become our Jack-o-lanterns. We had fry bread with cinnimon butter to warm us up before going home.
Anna and her cousins were all born in succession one month apart from each other. She is the only girl and she is definately a girly girl.
Anna has been putting things on her head and feet since she was 9 months old. She is really into dress ups and you can pretty much find her like this 80% of the time.
Anna loves to play outside. She grunts and points at her coat then sticks her arm out for me to put it on. She motions for me to follow her and then grunts at the door while signing "more". Notice how many times Liam crosses infront of the camera by the way.
I call Anna my little goofball. She is so playful and just loves to be silly. She's a total tease and just wants to have fun all the time. here is is proof of said goofballery.
