Spooky Bats and Scaredy Cats

I did a fun fall photo shoot with the kids. They had a ball spending the afternoon in the leaves and running around in costume with their capes flying behind them.

I tried a few with a different white balance setting to make them darker. Anna is in character and giving me a good "meow".

This one is a perfect expample of Liam's goofiness and ability to be a character.

Anna update

Anna continues to be our girly tomboy. She loves playing dress up but is very boisterous and loves getting dirty asd well. She is enjoying her 2 days of preschool a week and loves to help me cook in the kitchen.

She really enjoys her tap/ballet and Gymnastics classes. She is a good listener and tries hard to do what the teachers ask. I am really enjoying just having time alone with her. She loves to kick balls together and reading books together. She is a sweetheart.

Liam update

At six years old Liam lost his first tooth while brushing his teeth. He also has started combing his own hair. He is loving first grade and is vigilant about doing his homework each day. He is doing well in his gymnastics class and they are moving him to a more advanced class due to his monkey like abilities.
He continues to love art and music and legos. here is a self portrait in watercolor and a pattern he made. I miss having him around the house but I am so proud of how mature he is becoming while having adventures in social life and school.

Do the Puyallup

We went to the Puyallup fall fair with HEather and Evan a few weeks ago.

the 2 older boys buddied up and wanted to ride all the big kid rides. Eric took them off on their own after realizing that as long as the youngler siblings didn't go on the ride with them, then it was cool.

Liam and Orion were adorable. They held hands, told each other they loved each other and giggled together on all the rides.

This is the ride that fell over last year. Heather and I didn't watch.

These are paintings of children having fun on the rollercoaster at the fair. They are soooo creepy. Anna was really afraid.

Liam and Connor being brave on the roller coaster. Heather and I had so much fun watching them.
We had a really fun day the kids had a blast together.

The good old Puyallup fair. BTW we got a $144 ticket on the way home so it ended on a sour note. But the elephant ear sitting on my lap was totally worth it.
