Oh man! Liam loves his Daddy. Liam always spies on how his Daddy bounces his leg when he's playing guitar hero and he tries to emulate it. I love my boys.

Anna O.

We are discovering that Anna is a little adventure girl. She loves anything exciting and loves to play. I dare say she is more gutsy than Liam was at her age. This is her first time in the backyard swing. It 's a little dark, sorry.

I love this one. Liams bugged because his antlers keep falling off. He looked like this for one whole song. I love that the elastic band holding the antlers on is pushing both his ears out. It's fabulous.

preschool program

Last night we experienced another 'rite of passage' in the parental journey. Liams first christmas program. I have been waiting for this day as well. It was a big event. The "faith team" from the Lutheran based preschool even sang christian rock.( can I just say that one of them looked just like Micheal Bolton). Liam sang carols that I didn't even know he had learned. THere were giant screens on either corner of the building and at the end each child said their name and "Merry christmas". It was so stink'n funny! Anyway, my heart was warmed and I'm a little freaked out that I'm at this stage of life.

It finally happened......

It finally happened.....I've been waiting for this day and it has come. Liam has officially figured out that underwear makes a great mask for superhero play. It was done in secret, but the superhero emerged victoriously for his mother to oooo and ahhhhh.

the woodshop

Liam and Eric had some father-son bonding time and build a model airplane over the Thanksgiving break. Liam takes all his projects so seriously. He concentrates and works quietly, paying great attention to detail. This video captures him at work.

Okay, I know Liam undoubtedly looks like Eric, but just imagine a large purple grapejuice mustache on his little smile. Can you see me at 5 years old?

Bundling up

I couldn't help myself! I had to put both of these pictures because they were so cute. Liam and Cousin Connor spent much of Thanksgiving day playing Pirates in "Chellewood forest" (Grandma Michelles' forest). I asked if I could take a picture of Liam and he whipped out this pose. He looks like a seasoned model with his cocked hip and "I'm too cool" face. Connor joined in as well and they just look so so cute!

Thanksgiving Day

So, I didn't really get any pictures of the actual feast ,but here are some post turkey pics. Could Anna be any cuter? Liam and his Dad are taking a little after dinner nap.

Christmas tree festival

Preschool pictures

Liams first school pictures. He insisted on doing his own hair and picking out his own outfit, which was laid out like the "invisible man" the night before. He is so independant.

I'm funny, I can make you laugh

Preschool

Liam loves preschool. They have been learning about hybernating and his homework this month is learning how to put his coat on all by himself. He has made a best friend named Connor. I saw him put his arm around Coonor's shoulder while laughing together the other day.
Liam loves riding with his new training wheels. He had no fear when he first mounted the beast but alas, a small crash has stumped his progress and he rides with the greatest of care now.

okay, their just so cute I can't quit showing you all.

Shout out to Cousin Sarah

This is one of my favorite outfits on Anna. The cute little orange goldfish and bow tipped us off to her Halloween costume. The corduroy jumper takes me back to the day. If only I had yarn bows for her hair.

Ground control to Major Elton

I love the little 1950's looking skirts that are out for little girls right now.

soooo cute!
