In Leavenworth the kids found a friendly goat just hanging around the towns border

We had a tasty german dinner and stayed the night with Grandpa and Grandma

We went to the Kris Kringle store, which is my favorite and Liam found himself in wonderland. I picked out an ornament of a dog to remember Shadow and Lam chose this shark. It was $25 dollars and he was really sad when we said no. Look at his face. he was so downtrodden.

4th of July

We started our day with a short lived boat ride which was hindered my a strange sound in the boats engine....

We decided to ride bikes and play in the dirt instead.

If you look really close, Anna is sneaking up on a little brown bunny. She followed it carefully for along time and was discouraged to lose it's trail.

We always start with the poppers.

THe kids found the smoke magical and we made a rainbow of stink on the lawn for them.

THe evening continued with an impromptu program...

and their off! W had a little parade of our since all the 4th parades were on sunday.

We also had some high spirited races.

The night ended with singing......

and cuddling....

and a general content feeling of being blessed at where we are in our lives.
