Just bragging a little........

So, last weekend Eric and I went to Pax (Penny Arcade Expo). It's basically like E3 but it's more independant. Among staggering displays of all the new videogames coming out soon, people in costume, and more computer nerds, D an D kids, and tech goth than you could count was Bungie's booth. They chose the Map that Eric designed, built and textured to be the display for the booth. They had a few T.V.'s and let people play his map too. Eric and I got to stand around and listen like flies on the wall to the comments about the map. It was good fun. we saw the band Freezepop that night too. They were awesome. At one point they had everyone hold up anything tech that they had (camera's phones, etc.) and wave them in the dark. Dare I say it was actually kind of pretty. OUt with the lighters, in with Zune and ipods ( or whatever you have.) Anyway, I'm just so proud of my Husband. He's so positive, and thoughtful and hardworking and humble and so many other character traits that are hard to find in people.

Camping on Whidbey Island

We went camping last weekend and here we are at the beach. Can I just say that Eric is So Fine. And Liam is pretty cute too.

Cousin Matt and I did the baby sitting on the beach.

We went on an Elton family hike and let Liam lead the way. I have never crawled through so much greenery before but it was a blast.

Of course Liam needed a Growling picture and a silly pose picture.

Anna loved the camping trip! She never complained and slept well. She practiced her newly found skill of walking and played in the dirt ( ate the dirt is more like it).

The kids had so much fun playing night games. They were lost in the world of gnomes and ogres and fairies and they pretty much didn't stop running the entire time. ( no joke)

We went on a beautiful hike and Liam was a little trooper.

Part of the hike went onto the beach. Liam and Cousin Tori went for a swim of course.

We found a cut little alcove and Liam and Tori took in the peaceful view.

On the way home we stopped at the Highland games on Whidbey Island and then took a ferry to get home. Of all the fabulous Living History costumes we saw, we thought that this guy wins.

Notice Liam. Bugging Anna is a constant pastime for him.

And... she walks!

Up up....and away!

so I got Liam a Superhero kit from Michaels the other day. It was a hit. You know those moments when you think to yourself, "this is why it's worth it to be a Mom". This was one of those moments. He was lost in another world. He was totally into character, which was "Super Black Shark". It was magical.

The Fourth of July was Spent in West Jordon, Ut. We went to the parade by Dave and Debbies house and had a blast. Liam waited all day for the fireworks and fell asleep in my arms about 2 minutes before they started. We couldn't wake him. He was completely out while the sky exploded above him.

The White Clan

I love this shot! This is my girl who is happiest when she is eating. She has a serious appetite too!

Liam and Uncle Jonny weren't afraid of representing Liberty Tax service.

Grandma White with the White hair, as Liam would say, hung out with Anna. Cousin Maren and Angelica are looking out for candy. Anna got hit in the head by a careening candy sucker. It was so sad. But she's tough.

Eric is teaching Liam that it is very important to always wave at the beauty queens.
