We went the little Bavarian village Leavenworth which was just 20 miles or so away.
We always get the kids alittle toy from this euro toy shop.
We ended the Afternoon with Icecream cones and shade. I was perfect.
Adventures in everyday life
Anna trying to tickle the baby goats.
The twirling strawberry. That was the closest I have ever come to throwing up on a ride.
Anna was a spectator whilst Liam mounted his steed and rode around in circles for 2 minutes.
He told me he was going to imagine he was a cowboy. He was pretty serious about it all so I tried to take this cowboy'esque' shot. Can you see it?

Look at the stained face. She was going to town on the strawberries. That's also a bruise on her chin from a good fall she had on her scooter.

While we browsed jams and fresh honey, the kids did some art. IT was supposed to be of farm animals, but Liam is completely obsessed with Sperm Whales (much to Eric's embarrassment). It was a fun family day and a good way to welcome summer.
Liam drew and colored this entire picture for Eric's card. I taught him how to make bricks and he went to town. There is a church in front of the building on the right. I thought that was funny. Also, the bad guy on the right has writing on his hands that says "I am a nice guy" to trick people. The Robot is saying "De-stroy,De-stroy!" Click on it so you can see all the faces in the buildings. it's hilarious.
Liam's tree had a apple nearly touching the ground for Anna and one half way down the tree for himself.
Liam and I made a book mark for Eric. He loves to read and never has one. I found a Masterchief picture on the net made with simple geometric shapes. I printed it out and had Liam draw the one you see right next to the one I printed out. He did awesome! Eric was really excited about it.
Eric never gets enough time with Anna, so she and I gave him a coupon for a Daddy Daughter Date.
THis one was from me. I bought it off the coolest goth kid too. Bonus.
I made Eric a Fathers Day butineer out of paper for the Sunday festivities.
To finish off the day we had a most manly meal. Grilled bratwurst with southwest sauerkraut and spicy mustard. We couldn't forget a cold one. Ginger Ale and some gourmet chips. I think it's appropriate to burp after a meal like this. Pumpkin pie for dessert, cause it''s E's favorite.
WE went to a hands on car show over the weekend and let Liams wildest dreams come true. Here he is taking in the moment.
