Happy President's Day weekend! It was finally lovely weather and so a family adventure ensued. A trip across the sound and to the beach were in order and good times were confirmed at the day's end.
Oh man, I love those two....
This was Liams first ferry ride and he was entranced by it all. He studied everything and how it worked all the way to our destination. On the way home he and his Dad let loose and ran wild on the top deck in the dark. Apparently there was some father- son bonding happening.
We visited Port Gamble for a while. A cute little seaside logging town built in the late 1800's. Liam loved the white fences everywhere and the sea life museum.
The Fire house of course.......
It was the first beautiful day we've had since Christmas, it felt like spring was coming. Everyone was oogling at Anna and as always she gave them a huge smile.
I love this picture. He always wears a hood these days. We went to the Dungeoness spit after Port gamble but I forgot my camera on the beach. We threw rock in the ocean and played hide seek in the large trees that were washed up on shore.

She's growing up so fast. Eric and I think she looks like a marionette on strings in her jump up......thingy. we love it.
IT snowed! Eric and Liam had grand fun building this snow pig. Liam battled between this and a snow dog.
She's just so darn cute!
Liam is the best story teller. He's so animated and excited. Lately all his stories end the same though. You'll see....
We had Liams birthday at a bounce house and we had a blast. It was his first party with friends and he wanted everything to be just right. Here we see Liam upset because he knows that he is supposed to be sitting at the the table with the lights out and a cake lit with candles should be making a journey toward him while we are all singing happy birthday to you. This was officially done after this short film was shot and Liam was all a grin.
Liam insisted on going around the room and handing out his party favors to all his kids (as he called them). He worked hard on them the night before.
Grandma Michelle gives Liam a special Birthday chat while cousin Connor awaits another bite of cake.
The Party goers....
Liams cake turned out awesome! He wanted a shark on the caske as well so Eric made him one out of clay.
Grandma Michelle gives it a go....
Sometimes we call Anna Dot, because she always looks so cute in Polka dots.
Eric kept winning the King of the mountain game. I don't know why all the kids were so upset about it.
Anna and her second cousin Kira enjoyed watching all the wild action.
